Attached is the DRAFT solicitation for the Defense Freight Transportation Services (DFTS) II requirement including all attachments and appendices. A full and open strategy is anticipated. The period of performance for this effort is anticipated to include a 24-month base period, five one-year option periods, and a six-month extension per FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.

As part of continuing Market Research, the Government is planning to conduct a Pre-Solicitation Conference for the Defense Freight Transportation Services (DFTS-II) contract. The Government intends to hold a general session in the morning and conduct one-on-one sessions as scheduling allows.
