The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to manufacture the RADIO FREQUENCY AMPLIFIER for the AN/ARC-171. 

for qualification and production of the Radio Frequency Amplifier, NSN 5996-01-365-2245EW, PN 4246317 (L3Harris), APM/060-3334-108 (CTT).ITEM DESCRIPTIONThe Radio Frequency (RF) Amplifier within the ALQ-161 Electronic Warfare System is a critical component designed to increase the power of incoming RF signals, enhancing the system’s ability to detect, analyze, and respond to enemy threats.

The 408 SCMS/GULA has a requirement for the ALR-56M Intermittent Frequency Amplifier, Output NSN: 5996-01-685-3623EW. This effort consolidates repair requirements into a single, long-term vehicle in order to provide significantly improved delivery times and lower total cost to the Government. The Government intends to award a five year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Requirements contract with best estimated quantities (BEQs).

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for 1 Gigahertz, 160 Watt Radio Frequency Amplifier. NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to Rohde & Schwarz USA Inc 6821 Benjamin Franklin Dr / Columbia MD 21046-2663 / U under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that Rohde & Schwarz USA Inc is the sole provider of 1 Gigahertz, 160 Watt Radio Frequency Amplifier.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.

This is for the repair of the Radio Frequency Amplifier assets for the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) AN/URC-107.  All units and subassemblies delivered by the contractor will be 100% tested, serviceable and compatible with stock listed assets of the JTIDS product baseline and System Segment Specifications (SSS).
