Additionally, the airport’s northern self-service fuel farm is currently in the path of a planned hanger development and will need to be relocated. As a result, the airport identified an area off of Taxilane H to develop a consolidated fuel farm.
The current fuel farm consists of two (2) underground fiberglass tanks, which each have a 22,700-litre capacity. Theses tanks are cross fed and there is one (1) fuel cabinet for 100LL. The total area of the fuel farm is roughly 333m 2.
The current fuel farm (Avgas 100LL) has reached its end of life and needs to be replaced with a modern above-ground fueling system that meets current CSA B836:22 National Standard of Canada: Storage, handling, and dispensing of aviation fuel at aerodromes.
