Purpose and Objectives: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide supplies and reagents to the Laboratory of Neurogenetics for neurodegenerative disease research for gene expression analyses. The following items are required:Chromium Next GEM Single Cell Multiome ATAC + Gene Expression Reagent Bundle, 16 rxns – Qty(2)Chromium Next GEM Single Cell Multiome ATAC + Gene Expression Reagent Bundle, 4 rxns – Qty(1)Chromium Next GEM Chip J Single Cell
The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain contractor support for evaluating treatment-related changes in gene expression in samples collected from animal or plant species of interest to EPA. Examples of available technologies that can provide these types of data include, but are not limited to, various targeted or untargeted RNA sequencing approaches, microarrays, and high-density PCR arrays.
These barcodes hybridize with target molecules, and unique digital barcodes are then directly counted using single-molecule imaging to yield precise and sensitive quantification Up to 800 targets can be measured simultaneously in a single sample, and up to 12 samples can be assayed in a single run. This system will help to minimize overall consumable cost for individual gene expression analysis. Accordingly, it will be time and cost effective.
Submitting the assembly (BAMfiles) to the GenBank (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov) Gene Expression Profiling:1. Sample preparation and RNA processing:2. Preparation of Libraries and quality control3.
