MSC has a requirement for general ship repair (GSR) to be performed primarily on the island of Guam.CURRENT ACQUISITION STRATEGY: The Government currently anticipates procuring GSR under two indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts – a single-award IDIQ for complex ship repair requirements such as ship repair availabilities, and a multiple award contract (MAC) for non-complex ship repair requirements.

The General Ship Repair Multiple Award IDIQ contract provides ship repair services for MSC vessels on Guam.  These services include alterations, repairs, maintenance and routine work onboard MSC vessels to maintain operation capabilties and mission readiness. 

Military Sealift Command (MSC) intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) to solicit sources capable of supporting complex General Ship Repair (GSR) requirements in MSC Ship Support Unit Guam's area of responsibility.The anticipated RFP will solicit proposals to provide complex GSR on all MSC and other Government ship classes primarily on the island of Guam.

Military Sealift Command (MSC) intends to raise the ceiling for its FY15 General Ship Repair IDIQ Multiple Award Contract (FY15 GSR IDIQ) for the Oahu, Hawaii geographic area.  The increase to the overall ceiling for the 4th Option Period of Performance (POP; 18 January 2019 - 17 January 2020) is as follows: Oahu:  From $921,874.34 to $3,921,874.34, an increase of $3,000,000.00.   

Military Sealift Command (MSC) intends to raise the ceiling for its FY15 General Ship Repair IDIQ Multiple Award Contract (FY15 GSR IDIQ) for the Oahu, Hawaii geographic area. The increase to the overall ceiling for the 2nd Option Period of Performance (POP; 18 January 2017 - 17 January 2018) is as follows:Oahu: From $921,874.34 to $2,421,874.34, an increase of $1,500,000.00.

This requirement is a Rolling Admissions solicitation to increase competition in the San Diego region of Military Sealift Command's West Coast General Ship Repair MAC contract. MSC will be exercising the Rolling Admission rights found under section H- Special Contract Requirements of the Base Award.
