Government, through this solicitation, solicits for the acquisition of services under a prospective firm-fixed price contract for 2nd Generation Wireless Local Area Network (2GWLAN) Equipment Purchase & Installation, with place of performance Aviano Air Base, Italy. The subject product shall be acquired using FAR Part 12 procedures for the Acquisition of Commercial Items.
The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts, and labor necessary to install a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) for the designated 1st Combat Communications Squadron (1 CBCS) areas in and around buildings 2254, 2243 and the adjacent vehicle yard on Ramstein AB, Germany.
Engineer, furnish, install and test (EFI&T) new infrastructure and single mode (SM) fiber optic cable (FOC) to two Munitions Storage Areas (MSAs) in support of 2nd Generation Wireless LAN Minot AFB, ND. The infrastructure encompasses the installation of 6-strs SM FOC connecting fifteen MSA Igloos and three telephone poles to End Nodes, either Bldg 980 or Bldg 6025.
