Description:The City of Santa's Rosa emergency fuel tank at the Laguna Treatment Plant is at the end of its useful life. This project will remove the existing 15,000-gallon underground storage tank and replace it with a 20,000-gallon above ground storage tank. The new tank will provide the plant with a reliable fuel source for its emergency generator system. The existing fueling station will also be replaced.

The existing 175kW diesel backup generator is in the basement dedicated emergency generator room. There is a fuel day tank located in the room which is as old as the emergency generator. The day tank is also connected to the building’s diesel fuel storage tank located outside the building. It was indicated that the current generator is not functioning, old and cannot obtain replacement parts.

General description of the Project: Construction of a 4.5MGD sewer pump station including furnishing and installing drypit submersible pumps, sewage grinders, carbon adsorber scrubber system, surge tank located in vault, generator, fuel system including above ground fuel storage tank and day tank, bioxide feed system, process mechanical piping, yard piping, valves, flowmeter located in a valve vault, HVAC and plumbing system, electrical, instrumentation

The project is authorized emergency generators with fuel tanks with automatic transfer switches for each mission-essential facility.

Phase 3: Generator installation: Install structural I beams, place and secure the fuel oil tank. Provide all the onsite inspection and testing for the Fuel oil tank. Install generator and connection between generator and fuel oil tank. Provide feeders from new switchboard to generator. Provide all the onsite inspection and testing for the generator.
