The contractor will use a set standard SNP-generation protocol to extract DNA and return SNP genetic marker data and analysis for 35,000 mapped loci for 400 samples of freeze-dried potato leaf tissue.

These laboratories must provide blood and genetic marker testing services, including DNA testing. The laboratory must also have the ability to provide comprehensive specimen collection services throughout the State of Vermont.

The Positive Controls must be designed to detect all A and all B forms of each genetic marker within the Precise Type HEA Molecular BeadChip Test.AIS Service & Support (Service Contract Fee)Service and support for an AIS System to cover the following components: Array Imaging System (“AIS System”) and related software, Boekel Oven, Eppendorf 5430 Plate Centrifuge with Rotor Head, Veriti Dx 96-well Thermal Cycler. 

THIS GENOTYPING DATA MUST USE DNA SEQUENCING PRIMERS AND PROBES THAT ARE SPECIFIC TO CHINOOK SALMON AND REQUIRE KNOWLEDGE OF THE STOICHIOMETRY AND ANALYSIS PARAMETERS FOR THIS GENETIC MARKER PANEL (ALLSO CALLED “CHINOOK 299 PANEL”) WIDELY USED THROUGHOUT THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST.
