Purpose The California Climate Crisis Act (AB 1279, 2022) established targets to reduce anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 85% below 1990 levels and reach carbon neutrality by 2045.
. • Subtask 2 Scalability analysis: o Gross estimates of number and location of units to remove various levels of CO2 from the ambient air in Canada o Estimate total required energy inputs and identify practical, GHG emissions-free and additional sources for that energy, including through the use of power purchase agreements (PPAs) to supply emissions-free energy to DAC projects. o Estimate geographic footprints of source energy from different types
Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Motor Vehicle Emission Simulator ( MOVES) model and update the on-road mobile Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and forecasts in the NJTPA’s GHG Mitigation Plan. The NJTPA invites all qualified firms with experience in this area to submit proposals for this project.

Addressing envelope retrofits in existing buildings to improve energy efficiency results in greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions and is necessary to help California meet its decarbonization goals. The goal of this solicitation is to reduce GHG emissions by reducing energy use for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). This solicitation has two funding groups: Group 1: High-Performance Window Retrofits for Commercial Buildings.
