The central purpose of this contract will be to: estimate the emissions of mobile source criterion-pollutants in the NJTPA’s non-attainment and maintenance areas from the regional transportation network using the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Motor Vehicle Emission Simulator (MOVES) model and update the on-road mobile Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and forecasts in the NJTPA’s GHG Inventory.
The contractor must provide the following tasks: Contractor shall calculate the fees on the Annual Emissions Report for VA West Los Angeles, VA Sepulveda. Contractor shall compile and submit mandatory Data Reports on GHG (Greenhouse Gas Emissions) for VA West Los Angeles and VA Sepulveda as required by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) mandated by the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB 32).
The PSVR is located in Prince William Sound near the town of Valdez and adjacent to the TAPS.Emissions: The potential annual emissions of regulated air pollutants at the facility are: 135.7 tons of nitrogen oxides, 45.2 tons of carbon monoxide, 20.6 tons of particulate matter, 8.1 tons of sulfur dioxide, and 44.9 tons of volatile organic compounds. The total emissions of regulated air pollutants is 254.5 tons per year.

The MTP also has many additional requirements including, but not limited to, public participation and compliance with the federal Clean Air Act.Sustainable Communities StrategiesIn accordance with the Sustainable Communities and Climate Protection Act of 2008, or Senate Bill (SB) 375 (Steinberg), the MTP is required to include an SCS which details strategies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from automobiles and light-duty trucks.

Our 2014 strategic plan (report) directs us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) that are directly related to a changing climate and that impact our region, our air quality, and our vulnerable populations.
