System will ingest Bentley Microstation/InRoads/OpenRoads design files and file formats following GDOT Electronic Data Guidelines (EDG) from Bentley ProjectWise directories. System will also ingest common file formats submitted by Utility Partners/Coordinators. System will assess file data quality and log/report data issues. System will provide workflows for data loading.

It is expected that the effort expended by the successful firm will generate an updated, working GIS database describing system assets that can be utilized by the Walton County Water Department and Engineers in the daily prosecution of their work. Our vision includes deploying system maps to handheld devices for remote access and reference.
Unidirectional Flushing will consist of locating, inspecting, assessing, and operating distribution sytem valves and hydrants, recording water flowed and creating a deliverable GIS format compatible with Aberdeen Proving Grounds' existing GIS/Database system. Execute minor repairs to valves and/or hydrants according to Government directions.
CONTRACTOR execute APG’s Unidirectional Flushing program to locate, inspect, assess, and operate distribution system valves and hydrants, record water flowed, and create a deliverable GIS format suitable and compatible with APG’s current GIS/Database system. Fire hydrants requiring additional (requiring backhoe excavation) work to make them fully operational shall be told to the COR or designee.
