The current sole-source C-17 Aircraft Globemaster Operational Enhancements (GLOBE) contract is currently being performed by The Boeing Company (Contract FA8614-13-D-2002). It is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with an ordering period of five (5) years (Dec 2017 through Dec 2022).
The Government is conducting market research to identify, as potential sources, companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to competently and competitively respond to this SSS.The current C-17 Aircraft Globemaster Operational Enhancements (GLOBE) contract was sole sourced to The Boeing Company (Contract FA8614-13-D-2002).
This proposed acquisition will result in a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursement (CR) pricing arrangements will also be utilized as reasonable. This service contract will support the United States Air Force (USAF), Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command, and Foreign Military (FMS) partner nations.
