The resulting agreements from this solicitation shall be non-exclusive, the services provided shall be on an on-call basis with no guarantee of work, and any awards are subject to available grant funding provided to the county by the Virginia Marine Resources Commission (VMRC).

GRANT FUNDING REQUIREMENTS: The Frederick County Division of Public Works received a State Capital Grant from the Maryland Department of General Services (MDGS) to extend the Green Valley Fire Station water and sewer lines. MDGS requires certain contract provisions for the project financed by state grants. Theseprovisions may be found as Exhibit D and E of this IFB. Prevailing wages do not apply to this project.

The County will be utilizing Grant funding for this acquisition and will be limited to the approximate amount of $550,000, which is subject to Grant approval with respect to the delivery timeline.
