The City’s intent is to award the targeted grazing and vegetation abatement contract to an experienced goat herder that uses proven methods of vegetation improvement projects using goats.
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW or Department) offers this Request for Proposal (RFP) to issue a Permit for Excess Vegetation Disposal (Grazing). The proposed vegetation disposal activity will be conducted with non-exclusive rights on approximately 3,170 acres of real property known as the Daugherty Hill Unit, referred to as the Premises, within the Daugherty Hill Wildlife Area (DHWA), in the County of Yuba, California.
