Carlsbad Boulevard @ Hemlock Avenue The proposed improvements included pedestrian-activated in-pavement roadway warning lights to augment existing rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs), bulb-out curb extensions, continental style high-visibility crosswalks and green bicycle lane treatments in conflict areas.
This project includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install approximately 3,000 linear feet of a two-way separated bicycle facility, travel lanes, and parking lanes along Main Street.
Pay items include, but are not limited to, the following: temporary work zone traffic control, stripe removal, legend removal, type 1 markers, thermoplastic, pavement legends, and green bicycle lane thermoplastic. Completion date: August 28, 2020. Cost Range: $100,000-$150,000. Class of Work: Pavement Marking.
