The PORT invites written proposals from qualified firms, or teams of firms, interested in providing qualified inspection services and tools for the Safety Management System (SMS) Assurance Ground Operations Audit Program at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to allow periodic on-site inspections of GSE equipment condition including entering the inspection and red tags in our Computerized Management System (CMS) records.

Summary: This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia (“Lead State”), Department of General Services, in collaboration with the NASPO ValuePoint cooperative purchasing program. The purpose of this RFP is to establish one or more Master Agreements with manufacturers of new grounds maintenance equipment. All products and/or services to be delivered pursuant to the contract(s) shall be subject to final inspection and acceptance by the State at destination. “Destination” shall mean delivered to the receiving dock or other point specified in the purchase order. The State assumes no responsibility for goods until accepted by the State at the receiving point in good condition.
