Statement of WorkOn May 21st, 2020 flooding in Grouse Creek washed out FSR #280.  Emergency work was performed to divert Grouse Creek and reestablish the road.  Now that the water level has come down Grouse creek needs to be repaired and the streambank needs to be improved to withstand high flows in the future.  The rehabilitation work will take three days to complete. 

The purpose of this purchase is to procure nutritionally appropriate fertilizer for use at two (2) seed production and tree breeding orchards located on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests North Zone, Dry Creek and Grouse Creek.

This project consists of the construction of 2.2 miles of new road and appurtenances on the Sandpoint RangerDistrict. Work will include surveying alignment, clearing limits, slope stakes and surveying subgrade and finalgrade, soil erosion and pollution control, cutting and decking timber, clearing and grubbing, embankment andexcavation, building turnouts, installation of new culverts, placement of riprap and hydro seeding. Aggregate,Culverts, culvert bedding material and riprap will be obtained from a commercial source.
