NASA's GSFC/WFF plans to issue a modification to extend the period of performance on General Services Administration (GSA) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) GS11TD8BJD6002 (Washington Interagency Telecommunications System-WITS 3) Order NNG12AT35D with Level 3 Communications (Level 3) for Wallops Telecommunication Services.

GSFC Greenbelt is comprised of 1270 acres with 37 major buildings, 3.8M gross square feet (gsf) and approximately 8000 on-site employees.  GSFC WFF entails approximately 1.5M gsf spread across smaller buildings over approximately 6000 acres with about 1200 on-site employees and also includes the US Navy as a tenant organization.  NASA HQ resides in a leased building in downtown Washington DC.  

NASA/GSFC/WFF is anticipating potential changes to the WRC requirements and is undertaking additional reviews/approvals.

Synopsis:NASA/NSSC has a requirement for GSFC-WFF Generators Warranty Renewal from the manufacturer.NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to Carter Machinery Company, INC 241 Expo Rd. Fishersville, Virginia. 22939 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that Carter Machinery Company, INC is the sole provider of Generators Warranty Renewal.NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.

Notice of Availability for the Lifesaving Station and Observation Tower located at Wallops Beach. This property is being made available at no cost to all entities for education, park, recreation, cultural, or historic preservation purposes. No preference will be given to Federal agencies, or state or local governments.
