The order fulfills the Government's guaranteed minimum order for the Basic N68335-21-D-0053 IDIQ.

The Government reserves the right to award the demonstration project at the time of the basic contract award or before the proposal expiration period, should funds become available. If the demonstration project is not awarded with the basic award, the guaranteed minimum will be awarded. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for the demonstration project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

The guaranteed minimum amount for the basic contract period is $1,000 and the maximum contract amount is $46,000,000, including all options, if exercised. This acquisition will be set aside for competition under the 8(a) Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5M. This contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15, Negotiated Procedures.

The maximum amount is not guaranteed. A minimum of $5,000.00 in fees will be guaranteed to the A-E for the basic contract.The anticipated contracts, when solicited, will be procured in accordance with the Brooks A-E Act as implemented in FAR Subpart 36.6. Firms will be selected based on their ability to demonstrate competence and qualifications for all of the required work elements.
