The United States Coast Guard intends to paint the exterior of the USCG Station, in Juneau, AK. The current facility has started to crack, bubble, and flake in some areas resulting in the exposure and deterioration of the substrate which led to the intrusion of moisture into the building.
The United States Coast Guard is issuing a solicitation to blast and paint two (2) spuds, one (1) tender spud A frame, one(1) capstan deck plate and one(1) capstan barrel at the Contractor's facility. As stated in Statement of Work and ALL Applicable Standard Specifications and Drawings referenced in the Statement of Work(SOW) provided. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the contractor with the lowest priced offer.

The contractor shall be responsible for capturing dust, grit, paint chips and overspray created during the performance of work. The U.S. Coast Guard Yard Paint Shop Foreman will identify the required coating system for the work to be performed. The Government will provide the required coating.
Once repairs are complete, the contractor is required to pressure wash to remove algae growth and paint the guard shack building a similar shade/color to the current color.The Beaumont Reserve Fleet is located at 2600 Amoco Rd., Beaumont TX 77705.The magnitude of construction range for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.The solicitation has been issued on 7 July 2022.
