The Engineer Research and Development Center - Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC-CERL) has a requirement to purchase a small pontoon boat capable of carrying an open channel ultra-violet (UV) reactor beneath its platform in the space between its pontoons for mobile Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) remediation efforts.
A more specific current objective is to develop capabilities to effectively and efficiently bring algae to the surface of water sources, which will reduce the volume of algae-laden water to be treated in HAB remediation efforts.
ERDC-CERL intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Eget Liber, Inc in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).Market research has found that Eget Liber Inc is the only company that offers a UV-C enabled ROV that carries an open channel UV light reactor beneath its platform, which is necessary to allow for mobile HAB remediation.
