The 355 CES/Fire Department is requesting service for maintenance and refilling of halogenated fire extinguishing agent for 100 Amerex 150 lb. Model 600 Halon Wheeled Fire Extinguishers, Liquefied Gas.
The contractor will perform 12-year maintenance on Amerex model 600k 150lbs halon fire extinguisher IAW T.O 00-25172 Ground Servicing of Aircraft and Static Grounding/Bonding, and DOT regulations.Due to requirements set forth in T.O 00-25172 Ground Servicing of Aircraft and Static Grounding/Bonding, these flight line extinguishers must stay in the vicinity of the airfield to continue aircraft maintenance and SORTIE operations.
