This project also includes an uninterruptable power supply unit, generator for hangar doors and one elevator that will be installed in the shops and administration spaces portion of the facility. The project will be located at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, WA.
Hangar (approx. 18,700 SF) must be remediated of lead paint and provided new bi-directional crane. Modify support areas (approx. 11,200 SF First Floor and 8,500 SF Second Floor) to suit Activity program. Project to include temporary shoring of the hangar cantilevers while threaded rod connections are repaired.
