This project is a preventative maintenance project on the Kodiak Harbor Channel Bridge. The project would resurface the concrete deck with a polymer concrete overlay, field metalize all structural steel surfaces, replace bridge deck drain grates, repair concrete bridge barriers and steel connector plates, and replace utility hangers.

The work area goes from the Approach Channel in the East to the Lake George area in the West. The purpose for using a spud barge is to provide a safe, stable, work platform for USACE drilling crews while drilling operations are underway. The spud barge and tugboat shall be fully manned and capable of supporting drilling operations within the Indiana Harbor.
