In addition, ODFW is seeking a Contractor to provide upon request by the agency up to six annual 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher sessions. Annual refresher sessions may occur in-person at dispersed ODFW locations and/or conducted virtually to ODFW staff through coordination with the ODFW Safety Office with use of ODFW virtual programs. Virtual sessions can be hosted from the ODFW Headquarters office in Salam.
All Proposers project managers, supervisors, and workers must have a minimum of 40 hours Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training and the required annual HAZWOPER refresher course, as specified in 29 Code of Federal Regulation 1910.120 and Title 8 California Code of Regulation 5192, with the appropriate hours completed for their level of responsibilities. 4.

In addition to the General Standard of Responsibility found in FAR 9.104-1 and in accordance with FAR 9.104-2, the following Special Standard of Responsibility apply to this procurement: Specialized experienced: Contractor and/or contractor s employee(s) Technicians must have a 24 Hour Hazardous Waste Operations (Hazwoper) with a current 8 hour annual Hazwoper refresher card . see paragraph 8.1 of statement of work.
The training must include a 24-hour HHW Occupational Safety and Health Administration Hazardous Waste Operations (OSHA) and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training inclusive of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements and an 8-hour HAZWOPER refresher, to be held over the course of 4 days. DEC anticipates that approximately 20-25 attendees from Vermont would likely seek to attend this training.
