Deferred trail maintenance shall include clearing of downed and leaning trees, cleaningexisting drainage structures (waterbars, turnpikes, culverts, ditches, etc.)and clearing rocks and woodydebris from trail beds, small slide repair and trail tread sluff, stream ford maintenance, and brushing ofwoody type vegetation. The work to be performed is difficult. The terrain is rugged and steep. The areahas burned several times in the last 30 years.
