Union County, North Carolina, through the Division of Social Services (hereafter, DSS), is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors to provide Adult Day Care and Adult Day Health Services in Union County. Adult Day Care and Adult Day Health Services offers supervised care in a protective setting for adults, 18 years and older, who are in need of supervision and/or care outside of the home for a portion of a 24-hour day.

Service needs may include custodial care, limited skilled nursing services (i.e., nursing oversight, medication administration) and rehabilitation related to somatic conditions, mental illness, behavioral problems, and/or cognitive impairment. The clients to be served may include victims of abuse who are receiving Adult Protective Services (APS) from DHHS Aging and Disability Services (A&D).
