ANNOUNCEMENT: On July 10, 2019, UMass Medical School issued a new RFA seeking Applications from Licensed Healthcare Professionals & Clinical Practices interested in performing assessments of EOHHS disability Applicants. This RFA is posted on the online procurement portal used by UMass, called "Bonfire":
These licensed healthcare professionals including nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, pharmacists and others will be required to review medical records, reports, and witness statements; submit written opinion regarding the standard of care provided by healthcare professionals under review or investigation by the Board(s) of Registration or DCP; to meet with Board or DCP staff; and to testify at adjudicatory hearings if necessary.
The purpose of this acquisition is to seek services to support the identification and dissemination of a Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) educational platform through a collaborative network that reaches primary care providers in order to improve the healthcare and health outcomes of patients with ME/CFS.
