In general, the work includes removing the existing heat exchangers and installing new heat exchangers, pumps, miscellaneous piping and incidental related work as indicated in the contract documents on Eglin AFB as specified by the Statement of Work. The performance period is 150 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The Contractor shall provide services which may include, but not limited to the following: analysis, repairs, and alterations of HVAC systems; testing, adjusting and balancing of air conditioning equipment including air distribution devices, supply ducts, air handling units, condensing, units, fans, coils, hydronic systems including pumps, water distribution systems, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers coils and other related equipment.
All parts including control components (such as CPU boards, control boards, output cards, displays, etc.), pump 1hp or greater (vacuum, circulating, booster, etc.), air compressors, blower assemblies, sonic generators, heat exchangers, heater coils (including steam or electric), door gaskets, HEPA filters, and load probes shall be furnished under the terms of this contract.
This project is to efficiently upgrade the HVAC system for building 12 to include the refurbishment of six (6) air handling units along with the replacement of chilled water coils and gas heat exchangers, as well as the fan, valves, and controls. The system will be tested and balanced after the refurbishment is completed.

These mechanical boiler systems will include, but will not be limited to, natural gas/electric/propane fired boiler systems, fire-tube boilers, water-tube boilers, condensing boilers, electric boilers, domestic hot water boilers, heating hot water boilers, hot water storage tanks with/without coils, heat exchangers, EMS, DDC, and other secondary equipment associated with these systems.
