Additionally, the scope includes the removal of the existing boiler pumps and heating hot water circulating pump for the building, as well as associated accessories. The room supply fan will be removed and existing pumps will be replaced with new equipment to facilitate the new boiler operation. This work is scheduled to be completed in one phase of construction.
This system provides for heating water to RTU s in building 3. Replacement shall include (2) tube bundles, (2) hot water circulating pumps and all associated components as required to provide a fully functional VA approved system. VA shall provide (2) Siemen s control valve assemblies for contractor to install. See Statement of Work for more details.
Hydronic systems test and balance or re-balance will include balancing of condenser, chilled and heating hot water circulating systems to obtain water quantities, and temperature differentials through all system components.
