The Contractor shall install a new ventilation system for the media blasting room according to the contract drawings and the following principle features: The system shall consist of installing two (2) HEPA Filter housings with installed HEPA filter above media blasting cabinets. Each HEPA filter housing shall be connected to an in-line exhaust fan with a minimum flow rate of 418 CFMs with installed HEPA filter.
Vendor shall provide Post-Storage Cabinet with an integrated HEPA filtration system to meet the International Standards Organization which is recognized to prevent contamination and maintain cleanliness. Must meet International Electrotechnical Commission 60601-1 medical standard for power supplies. Vendor shall provide an integral condensate control system.
Some of the required steps include removing large debris and paint chips followed by the HEPA vacuuming all horizontal surfaces (floors, windowsills, troughs, etc.).
