The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking a Service Provider to implement a research design that will outline historical contexts of Hickory Grove Lake and Park, identify lakebed landforms with the potential of containing archeological components, and summarize findings in a report to the DNR. DNR anticipates that the term of any resulting contract will be June 21, 2018 through September 4, 2018.

Hickory Grove Lake is currently undergoing a restoration effort, and the lake has been drained down to the drain pipe (elevation 942.0). The remaining pool is approximately 10 acres in size, with a maximum depth of five feet, and a volume of 21.2 acre-feet. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor to dewater the remaining pool to an elevation of 938.0.
