Project Objectives and Outcomes To produce electricity from landfill gas generated at any combination of the DWR’s Closed Coachella, Edom Hill, and Highgrove Landfills while maintaining regulatory compliance. DWR’s goal is to beneficially use the landfill gas, instead of flaring the landfill gas.
