Total HIMARS launcher quantities under this contract action will not exceed 288. Support equipment such as basic issue items (BII), M142 HIMARS launcher adapter groups, HIMARS sling assembly, multi-soldier portable on-system repair tool testers and HIMARS unique tools, and initial spares required to support fielding of M142 HIMARS launchers will be procured along with the launchers.

LMMFC's experience and technical expertise has been gained over 30 plus years as the prime contractor responsible for the research, development, and production of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) Launcher Loader Module (LLM) and HIMARS/M270A1 Fire Control Systems (FCS). 

Additionally, this effort includes the ability to procure, as necessary, new HIMARS Resupply Trailers (RSTs).The Government has determined that Oshkosh Defense is the only commercial company capable of converting the MTVR Long Cargo Armored vehicles into HIMARS RSVs and producing new HIMARS RSTs.

These programs include Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Variants, Low Cost Reduced Range Practice Rocket (LCRRPR), Precision Strike Missile (PrSM), all MLRS launcher platforms, subsystems, and variants, High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), support equipment, and launcher fleet maintenance.
