The new 250mm steel casing will be installed by horizontal directional drill (HDD) at approximately 5.5m depth. MX requires KU to perform geotechnical instrument monitoring before, during, and after construction. Additional geotechnical engineering consulting may be required to support this work including but not limited to geotechnical investigation and ground penetrating radar. Construction may be completed in 2024 or may extend into 2025.
