The Whooster Web Based Software contract is a sole-source action (redacted Justification & Approval attached) for the purchase of Human Threat Investigate Software to support the mission of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. The total amount for one Base Year and four Option Years is $125,000.00.

Optional tasks may include, site investigation(s), as needed after a spill or newly discovered Solid Waste Management Unit (SWMU) to obtain information to describe the nature and extent of contamination, potential threat to human health and/or the environment, and to support a Corrective Measures Study or a finding of no further action required. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside procurement.
Project scope of work: The Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 authorizes the EPD Director to take preventive or corrective actions where the release of contaminants presents an actual or potential threat to human health or the environment. O.C.G.A. §12-8-27.1(a)(2). The abandoned Fauconniere Buckeye Cellulose Industrial Landfill will need to be properly closed to address existing and potential environmental impacts.
The waste remaining from those operations, some of which is stored in underground tanks, is a potential threat to human health and the environment including the Columbia River. The WTP DFLAW facilities are designed to receive the low-activity portion of the waste from the underground tanks, vitrify it into glass, and pour it into containers that will then be disposed of on the Hanford site in a safe permitted disposal site.
