The Resolute Hunter exercise serves as the capstone graduation event for MISR WTI training, as well as the sole BM/C2/ISR-centric training exercise to service, joint, and coalition partners.
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to Virginia Systems and Technology (VAST) to provide the systems, training, and technical expertise specific to the training requirements of the exercise. During those past iterations of Resolute Hunter (RH), VAST provided engineering support to RH exercise series.
The anticipated sites of performance: primarily at Camp Parks CA, which includes the sub-site at Fort Hunter-Liggett CA; Fort Gordon GA; and Fort McCoy WI. Split-based operations for Ft. Hunter Liggett during Warrior Exercise (WAREX) and Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) are required at Camp Parks, and may be required at Camp Roberts and/or Camp San Luis Obispo, CA. Exercise locations may change based on mission requirements.
As a resulting of funding and planning restrictions, the Air Force contract ceased with much of the work for the capstone exercise, Resolute Hunter, remaining incomplete. Services required necessitate specific, noncommercial expertise and knowledge of the ongoing Resolute Hunter exercise development in order to complete the course scheduled to commence 02 November 2020.
