The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) hereby requests proposals for the repair of a Ram Air Turbine motor. The Ram Air Turbine motor tests small wind turbines that connect to a hydraulic pump installed on an aircraft to help with the in air refueling process.  The RAT houses a three-phase-wye medium-voltage (4160/2300 volts) induction type motor that weighs in excess of 1000 pounds and is driven by variable speeds under computer control.
