The Lower Monumental Main Unit 2 is a vertical hydroelectric turbine-driven generating unit, with the generator manufactured by General Electric and rated at 142,105 kVA. The turbine runner is a 6-blade Kaplan-type rated at 212,400 horsepower (90 rpm), manufactured by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton.This scope of work is to repair the leak found at the turbine shaft to hub flange location.
