One, 6 MGD pumping system supplies the continuous demands at the incinerator facility. The other, 12 MGD, system supplies NPW to the rest of the treatment plant and to the non-continuous demands such as the ash slurry system at the incinerator building. The work includes, but is not limited to the construction of new pumps, strainers, controls and instrumentation, a new electrical room, 13.2 unit substation and associated appurtenances.
