Selective demolition of the former Weiss and Goldring downtown building on Third Street in preparation of re-development efforts by third-party developers; including temporary interior lighting, temporary exterior walls, and roofing protective measures, etc.
The electrification expert will support several CPAU efforts including the Full-Service Heat Pump Water Heater (FS HPWH) Program by providing assistance to HPWH Program customers that have been disqualified from the program due to challenging site constraints, as well as providing assistance to customers constructing new homes , and potentially also supporting HPWH Program customers who opt to full electrify their homes.
Improvements to public spaces, including efforts to beautify the space such as through decorative banners, encourage people to gather together and improve safety and well-being. This in turn can lead to increased interest in investment and the retention of existing businesses.
The selected consultant will be expected to manage the asset recovery process including any recovery efforts through the State of California, Franchise Tax Board – Interagency Intercept Collection (IIC) Program. In addition, the consultant is expected to provide optional skip tracing and an agency–directed payment plan services not associated to any recovery efforts.
This may be reflected in an IMLS-funded project in a wide range of ways, including efforts to serve individuals of diverse geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds; individuals with disabilities; individuals with limited functional literacy or information skills; individuals having difficulty using a library or museum; and underserved urban and rural communities, including children from families with incomes below the poverty line.
