Developer Request for Proposal (RFP)Tax Incremental Financing District No. 5City of Seymour, WIThe City of Seymour is seeking proposals from qualified developer(s) to work with the City on the development of a new neighborhood site in the City’s tax incremental financing (TIF) district No. Five.
Direct experience in the creation of tax incremental financing districts, negotiating and drafting tax incremental financing and other development agreements; drafting zoning and subdivision ordinances and advising planning or redevelopment bodies preferred. D|K has a dedicated, mission driven group of professionals with newly appointed office space in Milwaukee and regional offices in Brookfield and Green Bay.
In addition, strong governmental accounting, budget, Treasurer’s Certification, tax incremental financing experience, a degree in accounting or finance and Work Horse Accounting software are plusses. Experience with tax incremental financing, and development agreement negotiating and drafting strongly preferred. In addition, the property is located in the Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) District and in the Downtown Aledo Historic District with retail and commercial uses for similar properties in the area. All utility hookups, including sewer, gas, and water are existing. The City of Aledo is the current property owner and very motivated to see the property developed.
