Description: RFP FOR COST TO FABRICATE AND INSTALL ENGINEERED DESIGNS OF STEEL STAIRS, RAILINGS AND OBSERVATION DECK AT COUNTY’s BRIDAL VEIL TRAIL IntroductionThe San Miguel County Parks & Open Space department is requesting, from experienced structural manufacturers, estimates of cost to construct and install steel stairs, railings and observation deck from engineered drawings.
To improve and enhance public safety, the County’s Parks & Open Space department would like to install steel stairs to cross the boulder. It is also important for the stairs and viewing platform to be styled with influences from our mining history and with as little intrusion into the natural surroundings as possible. The engineered drawings must be completed by Dec. 31, 2023 and will be used to construct these stairs in 2024.
