The results of the SIMEX will be used to determine whether Robotic and AI technologies are mature enough for a demonstration. If they are, the USG will, through DME/NAMC, fund industry to mature technologies into prototypes for integration into the demonstration in September 2020. Interim demonstrations may be conducted at the discretion of the USG and GTRI.4.

These include agriculture functions such as facilities, accelerators, incubators, or coworking spaces for agritech start-ups; artificial intelligence research and demonstrations; crop research; commercial kitchens; agricultural events; education for next-generation farmers; housing for employees or students; and other possibilities.

The expo floor is also open for industry partners, AF Reserve, Air National Guard, intelligence agencies, and CCMD partners to provide a display/demonstration booth highlighting their emerging capacity and capabilities. There is no registration cost or vendor fee. All travel expenses to include meals and incidental expenses will be the responsibility of the vendor.
