The Department of Energy (DOE) Savannah River Operations Office (SR) intends to extend the current contract with Savannah River Remediation, LLC (SRR) at the Savannah River Site (SRS). The current contract with SRR ends March 31, 2019, and is anticipated to be extended for eighteen (18) months (April 1, 2019, through September 30, 2020).

This Special Notice is a Notice of Intent to extend task order W912HQ-20-F-0060 at the current monthly rate for services. The period of performance end date will be extended from 12 December 2022 to 12 January 2023. This extension is needed so that HECSA can pursue a competitive procurement for the successor contract for these services.

This class justification will provide for contract extensions that shall not exceed 1 year.
