Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (IONM) Technician Services. to perform as a Contractor for the work described below:The Contractor shall provide Intraoperative Neuro-monitoring (IONM) services to notify the surgeon of potential injury to vital neural structures while the patient is under anesthesia during spinal surgeries.
The purpose of intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring is to reduce the risk to the patient of iatrogenic damage to the nervous system, and/or to provide functional guidance to the surgeon and anesthesiologist. Contractor shall provide 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days per year neuro monitoring services on an on-call basis.
