UNSPSC 64102008 Managed investment account: An investment account that is owned by an individual investor and looked after by a hired professional money manager.

The portfolio is managed by 25 professional managers investing the assets among the asset classes of fixed-income, domestic equities, international equities, global equities, hedge fund of funds, multi-asset class strategies and real estate. Additional asset classes may be considered in the future.

Services required shall include the recommendation and implementation of appropriate investment transactions, according to the City’s investments and financial policies. The advisory firm may also be called upon to provide expertise in additional services such as cash management consulting, bond interest accounting and arbitrage rebate calculations. All responses must be received through IonWave.

Through this eRFI, OST seeks information from suppliers that can assist it to: Establish a shared, high-level understanding of current, commercially available software and service functionality for investment management, accounting/treasury management, and participant accounting.
