Summary: The Work consists of providing approximately 2,040 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main and approximately 40 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, including installing four fire hydrants and eighteen new water meter assemblies and water service lines, interconnections, associated appurtenances, and all associated clearing and grubbing, erosion control and surface restoration.

The Work shall consist of all labor, equipment, fees, permits, and other related costs necessary to provide for the installation of approximately 12,900 L.F. 8-inch Ductile Iron water main, appurtenances, new hydrants, water service transfers, and meter pit installations to replace the existing water mains of various sizes along the following streets in East Hartford, CT: Greene Terrace, Rose Street, Springside Avenue, Linden Street, Stanley Street

Approximately 550 linear feet.Replace existing water line with 8” ductile iron water pipe and install new water services and meters on Washington Street from the intersection of Washington/Green Streets to the intersection of Washington/Congress.Approximately 780 linear feet.Replace existing water line in Pennington Avenue from Union Avenue to St. John Street with 8” ductile iron pipe.  Install new water services and meters.
