Scope of Work:Skagit County is interested in obtaining marine engineering and naval architecture services for the Ferry Division of the Public Works Department. The Guemes Island Ferry has been owned and operated by Skagit County since the early 1960’s. The current vessel, Guemes, was built in 1979 and put into service in 1980. Guemes is U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) inspected as a Subchapter T passenger vessel.
