Work includes excavation to construct perimeter and lateral drainage ditches within the placement area to drain standing and subsurface water. Periodic Re-excavation may be required during excavation process due to sloughing of material. Contractor should describe experience relating to dewatering of dredged material placement areas and areas with similar consistency of material.
